We have all experienced the wanting of something that no matter what we do, that thing seems to elude us. Whether the desire is a relationship, a particular career, or maybe finding your dream home, it is often in the process of wanting a desire to manifest that we unintentionally begin to focus on our lack of not having what we want, and then from there we create even more lack. So how is it that we actually attract what it is we want, when it seems that we have tried everything and have not seen any return? Within this post I will share with you, what I found that it truly takes to get in alignment with our deepest desires and what we might be doing to block them.

 

Refocus Your Energy Back To The Nurturance Of You

One of the best ways I have found to bring anything I am wanting into my life, is to focus on loving myself. It is this focus that shifts my vibration to a higher level, so that I am not only able to attract more abundance but also my self-confidence raises and I feel really good. I have found that while I nurture myself, I also still put action towards the other things I want, allowing them to come into fruition when they are ready. Lets take for example you are wanting to experience a loving relationship, many people make the mistake of focusing on the fact that they don’t have a partner and will literally go out with the energy of desperately seeking, which only attracts partners who embody a similar desperation. It  is important to note that we still want to take the proper actions towards potentially meeting a partner, which would be getting ourselves out in the world more socially, as opposed to hiding at home, however our main focus needs to be on loving ourselves. When you do this, especially when wanting to attract a partner you will be emanating love and joy which will make you a magnet to so many more people and opportunities. A personal example of this was a time when I was much younger, and I had been working out and feeling really good with my body. I would do other things to pamper myself such as getting my nails done regularly and buying new outfits. At this time I was unaware of how the Law Of Attraction worked, however I was essentially raising my vibration by focusing on working out and buying myself pretty things which in turn made me a magnet. I remember it was during this time I had went to a music festival called The Vans Warped Tour. A couple of co-workers and I had been standing in a medium size crowd at one of the smaller stages watching a band perform. As we were observing the performance I kept locking eyes with the lead guitarist. I found him attractive and apparently he felt the same because once the set was over and the crowd was cheering, he walked off the stage and without breaking his stride he came over to me and told me that his band had a booth set up at the festival and that I should come over to see him. I said okay and quickly observed the girls around me with their mouth’s gaping open, wondering what in the world just happened. This is the magic of what can happen when you just focus on loving yourself, things and people will gravitate towards you. I believe this is why so many people claim to have met their partners when they weren’t even looking. There are many ways to love ourselves, however try to do the things that really make you feel good about yourself and that increase your confidence. Working out is a big one for me, however we are all different, therefore find what works best for you.

 

Putting Forth Action Towards The Things You Want

It is important that while we are focusing on loving and caring for ourselves, we still put action towards our desires. For instance while creating my website, I had a set time every day I would work on it, however I kept my predominate focus on my self-care and kept the faith that my blog would come into fruition at the time and in the way it was meant to. Sometimes we are wanting things so badly that we get impatient because we feel like it is not happening fast enough, therefore we might lose motivation for a period of time and quit working on our desire all together. It is much better and productive to create consistent actionable steps towards your desire, and discard any additional pressure or attachment to the way we think things should work out. A way to do this is to look at your schedule and then find a place where you can work on something you have been wanting to achieve. This could be less than an hour a day of your time, however that little bit of time will add up when you are working towards it daily. You will be amazed at what you can achieve in only six months when you commit to daily action towards your desire.

 

Believe In Your Dreams

There is no better way to attract what you are wanting than having the belief that it is possible. Depending on the extent of what you are desiring, you will often find people that are eager to discourage you from going after the things that you want. This is why you have to have a strong belief and faith in yourself. I personally experience negative reactions from people more often than not, whenever I decide to share my goals and aspirations. Sometimes, it is best to keep your desires and what you are working on achieving a secret until your own belief system becomes strong enough to know that your desire will come into fruition. Another key ingredient to believing in your dreams is developing a mindset that is determined to do what it takes to achieve your goal. This means that whenever you come across a challenge or a road block, which you most likely will, you still find your way towards what you are wanting. Your will to achieve your desire must be indestructible and your mindset must be one that says “I am making this happen no matter what.” Truly the only difference between successful people and people that dream about success is the willingness to do what it takes to achieve their desire, therefore be your own advocate and keep moving towards everything you are wanting. You deserve to experience a life that aligns with your hearts deepest desires.
